MamaStrong supports and strengthens single moms and at-risk moms through a gospel-centered, wholistic approach.

Care for the vulnerable is written all over the Bible. Practical care for a mother in a time of need expresses the mercy of God and the love of Jesus. We desire to show real acts of caring for neighborhood moms through meeting needs, helping with childcare, and connecting moms to helpful community resources.

In the spirit of Mary McCleod Bethune, we believe in helping women in head, hands and heart. Discipleship begins in seeing our collective need for Jesus, but it doesn’t end there! True discipleship in a mom’s life reaches areas of parenting, personal care, education and emotional health.

We believe birth is sacred and should be protected as such. Too many black mothers have experienced trauma and mistreatment at the hands of medical birth professionals. MamaStrong Doula Care reaches the place of support and advocacy that black women need in the journey of pregnancy and birth.
